Development Partner— Oak Park Recording would like to come alongside with you to help you multiply the impact of your worship ministry. There is nothing that can do this as well as a professionally recorded CD of the unique expression of worship that God has given to your congregation. Worshipping together is wonderful, but the power and impact is multiplied when people can take the worship with them to their cars, homes and offices and experience it over and over again throughout the week. One of the limiting factors in obtaining a quality CD is cost. Many churches have spent $20,000 for a full CD recorded in a studio. Sometimes the results are great, but more often the result is surprisingly disappointing. In many cases, there is a particular dynamic that happens when the Body of Christ gathers together and worships that is difficult to capture in a studio. Many more times, worship teams play better when they have instant response from each other and the congregation. Most teams are composed of outstanding amateurs instead of professional recording musicians. Here is one way the Development Partnership Program works. We will schedule, set up and record a live performance of your Worship team with our special recording equipment designed for a top quality album. We will then edit and mix the performance in our studio and provide you a minimum of 500 CD’s for $5.00 each! You can then give or sell them to your congregation. If you sell them for $10, the congregation gets a great value, and the entire project becomes a fund raiser. There are no additional charges for recording, mixing or replication. There are other options available with the package to meet your specific needs.
Recording— Oak Park Recording desires to support the musical endeavors of local talent. Long time musician, songwriter, engineer/producer, David Hale (Pastor Dave to his friends) is expanding this state of the art, digitally equipped, home based songwriting facility for project recording of Demos and Albums. With the completion of Sounds of Sebring’s debut ALBUM, “Hi Neighbor!”!, and the recording of DEMO tracks for Theresa Stein’s locally produced historical musical production “Florida”, (music by Doug Andrews and lyrics and script by Theresa Stein), along with publishing, recording and producing Rebekah Loweke’s debut album, Oak Park Recording has established itself as a dedicated, quality studio catering to the community’s needs.
Artist Management and Development— The Oak Park Recording expansion project also includes ARTIST management and Development. The *under one roof concept that independent record labels are using to help fledgling artist has been taken one step further at Oak Park Recording. Artist management and Development seem to be a natural outcropping from the recording, label and publishing aspect of the independent genre. Here, new artists can record their music, protect it, develop it and get it out to the public under one roof *, with greater trust and control of the process and less risk. Sound Reinforcement consultation— 25 years in recording and live sound reinforcement shouldn’t be wasted. Oak Park Recording offers professional SR consultation to artists and facilities. We emphasize CONSULTATION and not installation. Installation is another matter altogether. Knowing and finding the right product for your sound needs is where we can help. We consider the installation as part of the process, but quality, volume, dispersion, and looks are where we deal. We can help you pick the right product for your specific needs with very little hassle and at a reduced rate.
